Van Buren house.  Originally constructed in 1886 by Price, it was then reworked by owner / architect Charles W. Clinton in 1907.  Clinton embellished on Bruce Price’s original shingle style design to expand the footprint and add stucco, half timbering and terracotta design elements.

Once known as the “most original house in America”, Bruce Price’s shingle style cottage was one of the 13 original cottages built in Tuxedo Park.
